Sycamore Senior Living is an upscale independent senior living community, we are seeking a dedicated and reliable Overnight Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our senior residents during the overnight hours. This role is essential for ensuring resident safety, comfort, and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning of all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining areas.
- Cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces, laundry duties.
- Ensure laundry facilities are clean and organized; assist residents with laundry as needed.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the property management.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of any special events or activities occurring in common areas.
- Interact respectfully and compassionately with residents, addressing their needs and concerns when possible.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for both residents and staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field, preferably in a senior living environment.
- Able to work Tuesday to Thursday from 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving furniture as needed.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Must pass a background check and adhere to all safety and health regulations.
