The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating feed department personnel and operations, monitoring employee performance, and ensuring compliance with safety policies and equipment usage. They will also coordinate daily schedules, maintain equipment, and support training efforts for personnel.
About the Job
- Plan and coordinate feed department personnel and operations to optimize market share and efficiency.
- Work closely with the Location Lead to achieve missions and goals while promoting safety and providing exceptional customer service.
- Monitor employee performance and ensure compliance with safety policies and equipment usage.
- Coordinate daily schedules to expedite custom mixing and grinding, ensuring quality standards meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Ensure equipment maintenance on a regular schedule to avoid breakdowns and anticipate major overhauls requiring shutdowns.
- Support training efforts for personnel and monitor employee performance.
- Share accountability for monthly inventory and support other locations as needed.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
Requirements
- Valid state motor vehicle operator's license and good driving record preferred.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
