Agronomy Sales Specialist:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with local farmers and agribusinesses.
- Promote and sell agricultural products, including seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and precision agriculture technology.
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored agronomic solutions.
- Conduct on-farm visits to assess field conditions and recommend best practices.
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to educate clients.
- Monitor crop growth and identify nutrient deficiencies, pest pressures, and disease threats.
- Advise on proper crop protection strategies, including chemical and biological solutions.
- Utilize precision agriculture tools such as drones, GPS, and data analytics to enhance farm productivity.
- Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in agronomy.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Business, Agricultural Science, or a related field, or a comparable level of experience in sales leadership within the agronomy industry.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to foster relationships at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of the agronomy industry, including product applications, market trends, and client needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software to manage customer relationships and track sales performance.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
