- Set up and operate CNC drill press machines to accurately drill holes in metal, plastic, or other materials according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Program machine parameters, including drill speed, feed rate, and depth, to achieve precise hole dimensions and placement.
- Load raw materials into the machine and position them securely for drilling operations.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Inspect drilled parts to verify conformance to specifications, including hole diameter, depth, and location.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines, such as tool changes, coolant replenishment, and cleaning.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks.
- Maintain accurate production records, including job orders, machine settings, and quality inspection reports.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
