NOW HIRING - Parts Associate
Pay: $18 - $22/hr commissions
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by supplying necessary parts to our shop and customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure that shop personnel receive essential parts quickly to maintain workflow and reduce downtime.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge of our equipment lines and competitive products, ensuring accurate recommendations and support.
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department to ensure easy access to products and a safe working environment.
- Manage multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently, ensuring that workflow is prioritized and tasks are completed on time.
- Complete necessary paperwork for shipping and receiving, ensuring accuracy in documentation.
- Demonstrate outstanding communication skills when interacting with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Utilize computer systems and research capabilities to locate products from multiple vendors and provide quick solutions for parts needs.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment to ensure smooth operations and meet team goals.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure minimum stocking requirements are met and products are ordered in a timely manner.
- Perform shipping and receiving duties as needed, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing parts are processed correctly.
- Be available for weekend (Saturday) shifts and other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate (Associate's degree preferred).
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage customer relationships and team dynamics.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical parts and their function in the repair and maintenance industry.
- Proficient in computer use, including the ability to research information and locate products through various vendors.
- Positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills.
- Physical ability to stand, crouch, and lift objects throughout the workday.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in orders, inventory, and paperwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a relevant field.
- Prior experience with fulfillment software.
- 2 years of experience in parts sales, agricultural equipment, or repair shop settings.
