Position Overview:
The Regional Agronomy Operations Manager will lead and support the Agronomy Division within a designated region, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction. This key leadership role focuses on optimizing the production, delivery, and profitability of agronomy products and services while overseeing the regional sales team. The ideal candidate will drive strategic growth, maintain high standards for compliance, and foster strong customer relationships. The Director will also be responsible for planning, team development, and resource management to ensure the continued success of our agronomy operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement both long-term and short-term strategies for regional growth, sales targets, and operational goals, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Oversee the financial health of the region, including inventory management, margin analysis, and expense tracking, while taking ownership of profitability at each location within the region.
- Lead the regional sales team and location managers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure peak performance. Make staffing decisions and implement training initiatives to enhance team effectiveness.
- Monitor and maintain high operational standards across all locations, ensuring adherence to customer and company quality expectations for products and services.
- Lead critical regional projects, from product rollouts to process improvements, ensuring successful execution and alignment with company goals.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes and industry standards, ensuring the region’s operations are compliant with all legal and company policies.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating new practices and solutions to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and expand market share.
- Work closely with other divisions to ensure smooth coordination between agronomy, operations, and sales functions, promoting a unified approach to achieving company objectives.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision of the regional sales team and location managers, ensuring effective management of both personnel and operational performance.
- Provide clear feedback, support, and corrective action as necessary, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive performance through effective coaching, communication, and accountability.
- Strong understanding of agronomy operations, financial management, and market trends to drive profitability and competitive advantage.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.): Degree in Agronomy, Business, or related field preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in agronomy management, sales leadership, or operations. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
