Responsibilities:

- Hire, train, and develop sales teams at regional and local levels, providing guidance to help them achieve targets and grow professionally.
- Manage team schedules, territories, and performance to optimize sales results and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide timely, constructive feedback to team members.
- Handle disciplinary actions, including performance issues and terminations, in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and targeted sales strategies.
- Develop comprehensive sales plans to drive revenue growth, incorporating market analysis and customer needs.
- Provide expert consultation to clients on agronomy products and solutions, matching customer needs with the most suitable products.
- Respond to client inquiries promptly, providing information on products, services, and industry trends.
- Generate quotes, provide pricing options, and negotiate service agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including purchasing and operations, to ensure accurate order processing and timely product delivery.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics, and report progress regularly to upper management.
- Participate in industry events and stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and new product offerings to stay ahead of the curve.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Business, Agricultural Science, or a related field, or a comparable level of experience in sales leadership within the agronomy industry.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in agronomy or agricultural product sales.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to foster relationships at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of the agronomy industry, including product applications, market trends, and client needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software to manage customer relationships and track sales performance.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
