Position Summary
The Feed Operations Coordinator provides assistance to all feed locations in their set territory, in the areas of safety, inventory, delivery, sales, cleanliness, and morale. This position is responsible for driving improved performance, customer relations, warehouse utilization, and positive employee engagement.

Position Summary
The Feed Operations Coordinator provides assistance to all feed locations in their set territory, in the areas of safety, inventory, delivery, sales, cleanliness, and morale. This position is responsible for driving improved performance, customer relations, warehouse utilization, and positive employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate and promote feed products, services, and programs that meet customer needs.
- Coordinate production, distribution, warehousing, and sales in accordance with the Agtegra’s polices, principles, and procedures on farm store products.
- Communicate on a regular basis with feed location personnel regarding various sales programs and operational logistics.
- Assist and train employees in all aspects of operations including unloading, loading, application, walk-in sales, and product deliveries.
- Assist in developing the annual business plan to forecast the balance sheet for the upcoming year, while performing monthly inventory spot checks to ensure accuracy, creating inventories, and running reports as needed.
- Develop best efficiency practices for our products, machines, and employees.
- Maintain and grow feed volume and overall sales for the territory.
- Coordinate with the route truck to optimize efficiency and ensure it meets the needs of each location.
- Ensure that all feed locations present a positive image to customers and meet expectations for cleanliness and organization.
- Responsible for assisting locations with maintaining a profitable location through expense management, revenue maximization, and risk management.
- Make on-farm calls and deliveries to solidify customer relationships.
- Build and grow the team through continuous improvement efforts, act as a mentor to full-time staff and interns, provide input on annual performance reviews, and assist location managers with staffing levels for their location.
- Take on additional responsibilities as directed by upper management, which may include participating in meetings, training, recruiting, community relations, or serving on committees.
- Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program and DOT regulations.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate's degree (A. A.) in livestock/feed science or related field and five (5) years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- English Proficiency
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Experience in program management and administration
