Job Description Summary
Prepares food for outlets as needed. Such prep may include cold salads, meat trays, desserts, fruit and cheese trays, garnishes, and hot items when necessary, per outlet requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
- Prepares foodstuffs in large quantities as needed, while properly rotating and labeling.
- Assists Chef with food set up for outlet production.
- Helps transport food and assists receiving in putting away food products.
- Maintains clean, safe and sanitary work area.
- Keeps all refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage areas organized and cleaned daily.
- Knowledge of correct operations of all kitchen equipment.
- If emergency arises, may be required to work in front of the house operations.
- Provide excellent guest service to both guests and internal clients.
- Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and Internal Controls and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Able to read and produce food recipes

Required Education and/or Experience
- Minimum one-year kitchen experience.
- Communicates effectively with others at all times; basic chemical awareness training; understands and complies with all company and departmental rules and regulations; basic knife skills; ability to follow all recipes.
- Must be able to obtain a Riverside County Health Department card within one week of employment.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
perform this job successfully, the individual must me able to stand, move and work throughout the work area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Also, may be subjected to a smoke-filled environment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
