Updating and enhancing digital & eLearning platforms is crucial for turning ISAKOS educational assets like Global Link into active learning resources and extending the international reach of ISAKOS content. A nonprofit with more than 3,500 global members, ISAKOS seeks an eLearning strategy and online education professional to drive its digital educational content strategies forward, expanding the market base for ISAKOS educational content, programs, and digital products. The role involves researching and integrating cutting-edge education technologies into the ISAKOS tech ecosystem and collaborating with staff and committees to fill educational content gaps, ensure ease of access, and advance the Society's educational mission. Digital education content is currently evolving to include streaming of live surgeries, virtual courses, and online Congress sessions, in addition to offering webinars, scientific journals, online certification courses and more.Position Summary : ISAKOS is seeking an experienced eLearning and Digital Education Sr. Manager to lead the strategy and execution of the Society's online learning initiatives. A key member of the ISAKOS Market Growth team, this pivotal role helps shape the eLearning and knowledge management strategy for ISAKOS. The incumbent will help design and deliver the digital experiences that ensure learner success, supporting surgeons as they discover, learn about, and engage with ISAKOS digital assets. ISAKOS educational content provides the society's international membership and the wider orthopaedic community with access to resources that help them expand their knowledge, enhance their surgical skills, apply new techniques in their practice, and advance patient care.This position strategizes with content creators, publishers and editorial teams; supports implementation of new online learning platforms; explores and applies available technologies and resources that will enable the society to ensure availability, ease of access, and proactive promotion and distribution of ISAKOS educational content, increasing self-service and language translation capabilities to broaden reach. This requires professional experience and demonstrated competence in guiding eLearning strategy, LMS development, and digital production. The incumbent will understand and apply new developments in the field, recommend technology solutions, and identify new opportunities for continuous improvement that expands the reach of ISAKOS online education.Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to : eLearning StrategyDevelop and execute a comprehensive online learning strategy to enhance ISAKOS's educational reach and impact.Identify trends in online medical education and implement innovative solutions to improve digital engagement.Evolve Global Link online content to an active resource, promoting content more widely to achieve Education goals and strategies.Evaluate and optimize ISAKOS's online learning platforms, ensuring seamless accessibility and continuously enhancing the user experience.Assist the CMO, VP of Market Growth implementing a new learning management system (LMS).Implement digital and eLearning strategies, from planning and organization through execution and evaluation, ensuring alignment with ISAKOS's strategic goals.Development & Management of Digital Education AssetsWork closely with faculty, subject matter experts, and committees to develop engaging digital education assets that fill identified needs and gaps.Lead the creation and curation of high-quality digital learning materials across multiple online modalities.Facilitate access by ensuring offerings are relevant and desirable to a diverse international audience of learners.Optimize available ISAKOS digital learning platforms, leveraging existing channels to create, market, and distribute digital education assets.Participate in eLearning course design, collaborating with the Education team to apply best practices in instructional design and user engagement.Data-Driven Performance TrackingMonitor and analyze eLearning performance metrics, assessing impact of ISAKOS digital education assets and making data-driven recommendations for improvements.Utilize available analytics tools to track engagement with ISAKOS digital assets, with a focus on optimizing eLearning strategies and performance.Generate and present reports on eLearning and digital education trends, audience behavior, and effectiveness of ISAKOS resources in achieving learning goals.Collaboration & Stakeholder EngagementWork with ISAKOS Committees and collaborate with ISAKOS Office education team members to facilitate eLearning project execution.Partner with the Market Growth team to ensure effective promotion and visibility of digital education assets and eLearning initiatives.Work with external vendors and technology providers to enhance ISAKOS's digital learning ecosystem.Support the planning and execution of digital education initiatives for ISAKOS events and meetings.Technology & InnovationResearch and recommend emerging technologies to enhance ISAKOS's eLearning capabilities.Manage and optimize ISAKOS's digital learning tools, ensuring a seamless and effective user experience.Engage and train leaders and members to participate regularly in social media, boosting global visibility of ISAKOS content and the society's status as an international leader in education for surgical skills.Research and use AI tools to help with the translation of high-demand materials, breaking down language barriers by providing multi-language access to member resources and benefits, ensuring universal access, utilization, and value.Develop and maintain elearning-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistent execution and quality assurance.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesEducation and Experience : Bachelor's degree in Online Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Digital / eLearning, or related field.8-10 years of experience in eLearning strategy, educational asset development, and knowledge management.Proven expertise in online education, educational content creation, and digital learning strategies.Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, and audience analytics.Experience managing contracted resources for multimedia production, including video editing, podcast development, and webinar facilitation.Specific Skills : Proficiency with optimizing learning management systems, website CMS systems, online apps and social media platforms to achieve eLearning aims.Strong leadership and project management abilities, to manage multiple simultaneous projects.Proven communication, collaboration and creative problem-solving skills.Skilled in development of digital and eLearning strategies, advancing them through execution.Comfort with working with an international audience of learners and faculty, across time zones.Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities to ensure completion.Strong desire to learn and apply new ideas in a fast-paced evolving digital learning environment.Experience supporting online learning through a variety of tools for webinars, online classrooms, and other digital learning solutions.Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other digital content creation tools a plus.Knowledge of HTML, graphic design, and digital advertising strategies.Strategic planning and execution of digital campaigns for educational initiatives.Working Conditions / Travel : Flexible Hybrid Remote / Office Workplace.Participation in and coordination
