POSITION SUMMARY
Participates in the preparation of association customer reporting and AgVantis reporting, to include published financial statements, FCA Call Reports, internal reporting and other special reporting projects. Assists with Financial Planning and GL account reconciliations. Assists other Accounting department staff as time allows. Works on special projects as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Assists in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports. Analyzes and interprets information received from associations and conforms information to designated format. (30%)
2. Assist with Adaptive Planning loads, validations, and support Associations. (20%)
OTHER FUNCTIONS
6. Assists with preparation of Internal Control over Financial reporting flowcharts and matrixes. (5%)
7. Assists with permanent record storage, disposition of records and updating retention period lists and procedures. (5%)
8. Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as assigned. (5%)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- Experience in accounting or finance jobs preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices; finance principles and practices; Microsoft product skills (Word, Excel, Visio); automated accounting systems and other information processing equipment operation.
- Skill in interpersonal communication; financial records maintenance; recording and controlling accounting transactions.
- Ability to work harmoniously with associations.
- Regular attendance is required on this job, with the ability to work a full 8-hour day.

4. Monitors daily and month-end reports, checking for accuracy, and reports variances to appropriate personnel. (10%)
5. Prepares various work papers for use in audit work performed in conjunction with the annual audit and reporting processes. (10%)
