Laboratory Technician - Livestock Services

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team that works in the Livestock industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial mechanics and maintenance, with the ability to analyze data and perform various laboratory tasks. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of laboratory equipment and processes, contributing to our commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine tests and analyses on samples using various laboratory equipment.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments, ensuring accuracy in measurements.
• Utilize high voltage equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols'.
• Analyze data collected from experiments and tests, documenting results accurately.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with laboratory equipment, including the use of an ohmmeter.
• Collaborate with team members to improve laboratory processes and efficiency.
• Provide field service support when necessary, addressing any on-site technical issues.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with high voltage systems and safety practices is essential.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team and documentation purposes.
• Experience with stick welding techniques is a plus.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety regulations.
• Military experience is considered an asset but not required.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
