The Job
Prepares for start-ups and doffs. Doffs and creels frames. Performs proper scanning procedure(s), general equipment and material services. Performs roving tasks monitoring frame process.

Do these responsibilities describe what you do best?
- Prepares frame for start-up and doffing.
- Performs proper scanning procedure(s), creeling, discing, tracking label placement, traveler change, cleans rings/separators, and bobbin selection & placement.
- Performs yarn wrapping operation on bobbin.
- Removes forming tubes from creel, doffs and visually inspect metered twist bobbins to ensure a quality product and packs, doffs reject metered and non-metered to pin truck and transport to designated area.
- Cleans and oil frames. 6. Sets doff meter before start-up.
- Performs stock handling duties.
- Assists in frame re-start due to power failure.
- Records and tags faulty equipment and non-metered bobbins.
- Completes records, reports and enters data into computer terminal (including, but not limited to, wing cards, traveler changes, frame #, ROE, # doffed/type, etc.).
- Scans bar codes and produces tracking labels.
- Procures and distributes direct materials (including, but not limited to, paper towels, cleaning solvents, discs, travelers, wing cards, micarta stick, collet knife, etc.).
- Monitors frame room process (including, but not limited to, frame cycle times, ensures stock availability, # doffed, work procedures, ensure cards signed, etc.).
- Communicate all changes, trials, etc., and notify appropriate personnel of process or product problems.
- Assist in maximizing OE.
- Participates in the safety and good housekeeping programs as established within the plant. Performs other related duties consistent with the nature of the job as directed by Management

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment at least 1 year is a plus.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to stand for 12 hours a day.
- Learn quickly under fast paced production environment.
- Ability to work swing shift.
- Must be able to pass Work Keys.
