The Role: 

We are looking for a part-time (24 hrs pw across Monday to Friday) Customer Care Associate to join our dynamic team in Dumfries. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for providing customer service and a keen interest in the veterinary or animal care industry. You will provide friendly and professional support across internal departments as well as clients, ensuring their needs are met quickly and efficiently. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction  

• Resolve customer issues and data changes in a professional and timely manner 

• Ownerships of issues relating to customer deliveries and returns 

• Support with the opening of new customer account 

• Respond to enquiries via phone, email, and live chat 

• Provide product and order information with accuracy and clarity 

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services 

• Accurately document customer interactions and feedback 

What We’re Looking For: 

• Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor 

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills 

• Reacts to changing priorities quickly and remains calm 

• Adapts well to an often fast-paced environment 

• Quick learner particularly when it comes to learning software and databases 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, and builds relationships easily 

• Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within the veterinary or healthcare industry (preferred, but not required)
