The role of the Delivery Driver is essential to maintaining the highest level of service to Covetrus customers. As the regular face-to-face contact with our customers, Delivery Drivers have a significant role in maintaining a positive and reliable reputation across our customers.
Pay rate: £12.27p/h shift allowance
Start time: 05:00/06:00am

Duties of a Relief Delivery Driver
• Efficient and accurate delivery of orders to multiple customers across various locations within a geographical spread. Maintaining positive and professional relationships across all customers
• Cross-checking orders
• Collections of returns
• Feed back to customer services any issues or inaccuracies
• Daily vehicle checks and monthly cleaning
• Warehouse duties including moving stock, parcel sortation, wrapping pallets and loading
Experience
• Experience of a customer facing role would be advantageous along with previous delivery driving responsibilities
• Experience of multiple drops when delivering. Ability to navigate to new and unfamiliar locations easily.
• Experience of a Zebra scanner (Not essential)
• Positive interpersonal abilities
• Attention to detail
• Reliability
• Clean Driver's license, including C1 & D1 criteria.
Education:
• Basic literacy and numeracy are essential for covering the core duties of the role. Being a Driver at Covetrus is more than just a ‘driving job’
