About the Role:
As a Design Engineer HVAC, you will be responsible for designing and developing HVAC systems for commercial and industrial buildings. You will work closely with the project team to ensure that the systems meet the client's requirements and are compliant with industry standards. Your end goal will be to deliver high-quality HVAC systems that are energy-efficient, cost-effective, and reliable. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC design principles, as well as experience with AutoCAD and other design software.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience in HVAC design and engineering
- Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and industry standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with energy modeling software (e.g. eQUEST, EnergyPlus)
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Experience with project management and leadership
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial and industrial buildings
