Dishwasher/Food Prep

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Preparation Worker to join our culinary team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation of food items, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a willingness to help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Experience in food preparation, catering, or culinary arts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Help with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas during peak service times.
• Support cooks and chefs in various tasks, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and assembling dishes.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed diligently.
• Participate in banquet setups and breakdowns as needed for special events.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a food preparation role or similar position is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
