We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Home Health Speech and Language Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in your field, you will provide personalized speech and language therapy services to patients in their homes, improving their communication skills and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop individualized therapy plans to address specific disorders, including speech articulation, language comprehension and expression, cognitive-communication skills, and dysphagia (swallowing difficulties).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
In addition to a valid SLP license, we require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Experience in speech therapy, preferably in a home health or similar setting, is preferred.
