Starting base salary of $60,000 - $65,000 (depending on experience).

Summary
The HR manager will be required to support the various Human Resources functions at the Amway Grand Plaza (AGP) and AHC Hospitality with a primary focus on employee relations. They will on-board new Managers providing essential skills training for all new management. i.e. disciplinary training, PAFs, Hilton requirements, Go Hilton, etc. They will coordinate and communicate new hire, monthly and annually required Hilton department specific training and events. The HR Manager will maintain and update changes to Hilton CURIO brand standard training programs, and communicate the changes to appropriate departments while tracking manager's completion of their department staff's required training. Assist with planning and coordinating AHC associate events. They must be available to work in an office setting from 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday and complete other tasks as required or requested by the Manager.

Essentail Functions
- The HR Manager will assist the Director of Human Resources by mainly supporting employee labor relations, employee coaching and disciplines, unemployment claims/hearings, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.
- The HR Manager carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, ADP system functionality (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, organizational development, and employment.
- The HR Manager will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources office while assuring that the tracking of all Curio Hilton mandated training is consistently being administered by management.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee information, company records, and internal communications to ensure trust and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Promptly respond and resolve all Go Hilton issues.
- Be knowledgeable with all Human Resources functions and laws governing the employment of all associates.
- Implement and develop plans and actions that support the goals of the Human Resources team with a focus on employee relations and retention, employment staffing, onboarding, training, event planning, employee communications and networking.
- Learn and follow all hotel policies and procedures pertaining to the area of work. Follow all established standards and comply with all other company policies.
- Provide fast and courteous service to our associates; to accomplish this, a well-organized work area must be maintained.
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times as a goodwill ambassador of the AGP to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ability to follow established guidelines, procedures and policies and assist in holding others accountable to these as well.
- Good attendance record and punctuality for their work schedule.
- Adherence to prescribed grooming and appearance standards.

- BS degree in HR Management, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- 1-2 years experience in HR management required.
- Luxury hospitality experience is preferred.
