About the Team
The Asset Management team at AHC is charged with strategically pursuing the organization's long-term goals : from working with our Development and Construction Teams in pre-development to the ultimate disposition of each asset. Asset Management operates with AHC's mission and strategic objectives at the forefront. This team oversees AHC’s third-party property management partners, develops strategic plans, and continuously monitors and analyzes the performance of each individual asset and the entire portfolio.
About the Job
Reporting to the VP of Asset Management, the Asset Management Operations Manager will execute strategic operational priorities for AHC’s multi-family portfolio. This role requires expertise in affordable housing programs (i.e. LIHTC, PBV / HCV, PSH) and familiarity with market-rate and mixed-use properties. Must have proven and successful experience with MOR, REAC / NSPIRE inspections and regulatory compliance requirements. This role requires a self-motivated, adaptable leader capable of managing multiple priorities while driving operational success.
Responsibilities
- Manage operational projects and system implementations
- Liaise with Resident Services to address escalated resident concerns as needed
- Ability to create, interpret, articulate and enforce policies and procedures and standardized approaches to property operations
- Conduct due diligence, site visits, budget reviews, and risk assessments for property acquisitions and management transitions
- Track client satisfaction and portfolio performance metrics
- Standardize property management processes and policies
- Monitor market trends and evaluate property conditions
- Assist in budgeting, inspections, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Support portfolio optimization initiatives related to capital planning and special projects
- Ensure regulatory compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and other laws
- Ability to train, mentor, and influence teams
