Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. The Technician is responsible for operating multi-axis computer-aided assembly workstations and performing a variety of tasks to assemble, test and repair rotary video head products. The ideal candidate will work with minimal general supervision, demonstrate the ability to thrive under pressure, and display a willingness to adapt to varying work conditions.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment
- Utilize diagnostic and test instruments, such as an oscilloscope, to troubleshoot and identify problems
- Interpret and follow technical manuals and schematics
- Perform tasks such as bonding, assembly, soldering and alignment
- Document all repairs and maintenance performed
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot problems
- Carry out additional tasks as required.
Requirements
- Minimum High school diploma or equivalent,
- At least 2 years of work-related experience
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to perform required assembly calculations
- Ability to work independently with a microscope and oscilloscope.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and visual acuity
- Good communication skills
The compensation offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education and other qualification factors).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
