Mechanical Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. The Technician is responsible for operating multi-axis computer-aided assembly workstations and performing a variety of tasks to assemble, test and repair rotary video head products. The ideal candidate will work with minimal general supervision, demonstrate the ability to thrive under pressure, and display a willingness to adapt to varying work conditions.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment
• Utilize diagnostic and test instruments, such as an oscilloscope, to troubleshoot and identify problems
• Interpret and follow technical manuals and schematics
• Perform tasks such as bonding, assembly, soldering and alignment
• Document all repairs and maintenance performed
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot problems
• Carry out additional tasks as required.

Requirements

• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent,
• At least 2 years of work-related experience
• Proficiency in basic computer skills
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to perform required assembly calculations
• Ability to work independently with a microscope and oscilloscope.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and visual acuity
• Good communication skills

The compensation offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education and other qualification factors).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
