How You Will Contribute
Do you enjoy working in an administrative role that has a technical component to it? This position may be for you. You will work closely with our Mechanical Design team to set up Autodesk Construction Cloud and Revit models for the project teams. This will include creating views/sheets models, archiving models for projects at closeout, and other administrative tasks associated with these virtual construction applications. You will work to establish and maintain documentation of standards to ensure consistency of how things are done within the mechanical design team. Strong attention to detail will be needed with the entering of information into SmartSheets to include; entering and linking tasks, data entry of estimated units, capturing the hours & dollars for project status updates, and communicating requests for cost code adjustments for truing up hours on projects. You will manage project folder organization and file sharing between disciplines. You will be an instrumental team member throughout the virtual construction phase of Ahern’s mechanical project.
What You Need To Qualify
Candidates should have previous experience working in a technical administrative type role with demonstrated skill in technical applications. Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, REVIT, Navis Works, and Bluebeam would be helpful, but not required. Desire and comfort in learning technical applications are key. MS Office experience is required.
