Shift Differential: $0.40 2:15pm – 10:15pm // $0.45 10:15pm – 6:15am

The Production Helper is responsible for assisting Production Associates with operating equipment, continuous support, and keeping work areas clean by performing the following duties.

JOB DUTIES:

• Learn and master four distinct job functions as directed by Operations Manager. As you sign off on each job, a pay increase will be provided but only applied when running a job. (Not including training.)
• Safety – always follow all safety guidelines: complete monthly safety training; know and use PPE equipment as required; locate, read and understands MSDS; follow job safety analysis procedures, follow LOTO rules, etc.
• Candidates must be willing to commit to a minimum of one year in the position.
• Learn to operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators
• Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators of any malfunctions.
• Clean, inspect and lubricate equipment (operator preventative maintenance).
• Clean work areas, machines, equipment, vehicles, or products.
• Understand and adhere to daily production schedules.
• Understand how to use the elevator loads and procedures for moving products.
• Break up defective products for reprocessing.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or lead.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• <1 year of experience in a related environment or equivalent training and/or education.
• Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening.
• Positive and verifiable work history.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequently will push, pull, carry, and lift 20 - 75lbs.
• Occasionally walking, standing, stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping and repetitive movements
• Frequently talk, hear, read, write
• Frequently must be able to work in moderate noise, up to 83 decibels.
