Position Overview:
Are you an organized and dynamic HR professional with a passion for creating positive, efficient, and engaging workplaces? We are seeking a Human Resource Generalist to partner with department leaders, oversee recruitment efforts, and contribute to building a thriving workplace culture. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact, with plenty of room for professional growth and development. Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply—your language skills will play a key role in helping us serve our diverse community. Experience with payroll processing is a plus!
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop clear hiring standards and goals that align with company values and growth objectives
- Source, screen, and interview top-tier candidates through job boards and other channels, helping us build a talented, diverse team
- Ensure all departments are fully staffed with qualified, dedicated employees who align with our culture
- Manage all hiring paperwork and guide new hires through a seamless onboarding process, ensuring a great first impression
- Maintain and update job descriptions, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Develop training materials, performance management programs, and initiatives that promote ongoing employee development and engagement
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Create and manage a competitive compensation strategy based on market research, ensuring AHHN attracts and retains top talent
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and best practices
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in recruitment and staffing, with a track record of sourcing and hiring top talent in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills—bilingual (Spanish/English) is a must!
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other HR software/tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive under pressure
- Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best HR practices
- Ability to foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with the company’s mission and values
