Position Summary:
The Director of Finance & Performance Management will function as part of the Market Leadership team to oversee financial and analytical support to help improve business performance and drive improved financial and clinical outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial planning / forecasting and medical analytic support, and is comfortable in a very hands-on environment, working directly with large data sets, and will collaborate effectively with operational and clinical leadership.
Essential Job Functions:
- Function as a partner and key resource to the market leadership team providing oversight of all local financial/performance management operations.
- Partner with centralized FP&A team to drive budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting for the market.
- Partner with local and corporate analytic teams, to identify opportunities throughout the P&L (membership, revenue, medex). Understand drivers / root causes of opportunity and present findings that can be acted upon by market leadership.
- Participate in strategic planning activities with the leadership team and partner with market leadership team to present to partner leadership at quarterly board meetings.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum Experience
- 7-10 years related work experience, preferably in a health care / managed care setting is preferred.
- Background in financial planning/forecasting and medical analytic support
- Experience working directly with large data sets and ability to collaborate effectively with operational and clinical leadership.
Education/Licensure:
- Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting is required.
