Experienced Floor Tech
Job Description
MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE or ID
MUST HAVE A BIRTH CERTIFICATE or PASSPORT
MUST HAVE A CLEAN BACKGROUND
NO FELONIES / NO MISDEMEANOR w / in Past 10 Years)
Essential duties :
- Perform all assigned tasks in a professional and timely manner.
- Must be able to strip / wax VCT tiles (attention to detail is critical)
- Must know how to burnish floors with a High Speed
- Must be able to extract and bonnet carpets
- Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to policy and procedure.
- May also be needed to support our janitorial program (other duties as assigned)
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Reports safety hazards when identified.
- Observe safety precautions at all times, uses safety signs
Must be able to operate the following pieces of equipment;
Low speed Side by Side
High Speed Burnish
Carpet Extractor
Wet / Dry Vacuum
Drying Fan
Walk Behind scrubber
Ride on Scrubber
Must be able to verbally describe how to accomplish specific tasks when interviewed.
