Position Type : Full-Time
Schedule : Monday - Friday 5 : 00 am - until all deliveries are completed.
Sign On Bonus : $1,500
Must be able to drive a manual transmission tractor-trailer while hauling a flatbed trailer. Must have forklift experience (piggyback preferred). Must be willing to obtain HME within 90 days of hire.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work : Schedule : Full-time position. The hours of work and days for this position are Monday through Friday 5 am until all deliveries are completed. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Job Summary : A successful manufacturing and distribution company has an excellent opportunity for an experienced CDL A Truck Driver. We are looking for a professional, safe, courteous driver to join our team. The person in this position will pull a flatbed trailer. Under the direct supervision of the Dispatcher / Driver Supervisor the driver is responsible for delivering cement and masonry supplies to residential and commercial customers in the Austin area. This position will provide the successful candidate with the chance to apply their knowledge, learn new skills and work as a team within a safe environment. The ideal candidate for this role pays strong attention to detail and has a willingness to work overtime as needed.
Required Skills / Abilities :
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
- Ability to remain focused in a busy environment.
