This is a full-time non-exempt hourly position that is eligible for overtime pay after 40 hours in a workweek.
The hours of work and days for this position are Monday - Friday 7 : 00 am until all work is completed and Saturday work as needed.

Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator. This position will be responsible for unloading product deliveries, staging products based on customer orders and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory. The ideal candidate will be available to work overtime hours during the busier times of the year, able to lift 100 pounds and have a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Operate forklift to move materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse

Load and unload trucks using forklift

Perform inventory control and maintain accurate records of materials movement

Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure efficient workflow

Communicate with warehouse supervisor regarding any issues or concerns

Minimum Requirements

Must be able to complete and pass a forklift evaluation using a sit down forklift

Must have recent experience working in non-climate controlled environment

Ability to work overtime and Saturday work

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Ability to safely lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required. Able to lift and carry 50-100 pounds

Committed to quality, safety and communication

Team-oriented and self-directed

Flexible and able to adapt to change based on work demands

Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures

Good understanding of general warehouse duties

Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic math skills for inventory control

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work different shifts as needed

Must be 18 or older per OSHA
