Are you passionate about making a difference? We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. In this role, you'll provide personalized care and support to individuals with IDD in a home-like setting. From assisting with daily activities to exploring new experiences together, you'll be instrumental in helping individuals achieve their goals and live life to the fullest.
As a DSP Float, you will work at our programs with the highest need for staffing. We are seeking a FLOAT DSP to "Float" between Litchfield, Hutchinson, Cokato, Buffalo, Annandale, and Atwater Minnesota.
*Must be available for ALL shifts (days, evenings, overnights)*
$19 hourly

Responsibilities:
- Engage individuals in fun and enriching activities tailored to their interests and abilities.
- Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household chores, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Foster a sense of community and inclusion through outings, recreational activities, and participation in social events.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans and goals.
- Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship, building trusting relationships based on mutual respect and understanding.
- Document daily activities and progress notes, ensuring accurate records and compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in human services or related fields preferred.
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required-training will be provided.
- Passion for helping others, with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to varying needs and schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to promoting independence and dignity for all individuals.
