AHL HealthCare Group is looking to fill a full-time Human Resources position. This position will join our HR team and be based out of our Fridley, MN office and will serve our Metro and Metro West locations. We are looking to hire either an HR Generalist or an HR Manager, depending on qualifications and experience of candidate.

- Coordinates all aspects of employee relations including reviews, corrective action plans, investigations, terminations, exit interviews, and employee recognition
- Ensures that any employee complaints or disputes are addressed and managed appropriately
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
- Serves as EEO specialist to include timely filing of reports
- Responsible for oversight with all workers compensation claims
- Monitors unemployment claims and appeals
- Assures Data Privacy and HIPAA regulations are followed agency wide
- Assist with developing and distributing employee communications such as policies, employee handbook, newsletter, memos, etc.
- Assists with safety committee meetings
- Assures compliance with OSHA regulations and reporting procedures

- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
- $21.00-$28.85/hour, depending on qualifications
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, or another related field
- Knowledge and understanding of current state and federal employment law
- Competent with various software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks
- General knowledge of the principles and practices of personnel administration, ability to develop long-term plans and programs and to evaluate work accomplishments, effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass MVR check, maintain a valid driver's license and insurance and a state background check clearance
