Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gunsmith to join our team. As a Gunsmith, you will be responsible for repairing, modifying, and maintaining firearms. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
Duties:
- Inspect firearms to identify issues and determine necessary repairs or modifications
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble firearms
- Repair or replace damaged or worn parts
- Install accessories and custom components
- Test firearms to ensure proper functionality and accuracy
- Provide maintenance services such as cleaning, oiling, and adjusting firearms
- Keep accurate records of repairs, modifications, and customer information
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any questions or concerns
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Gunsmith or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of firearms, including various types and models
- Proficient in using gunsmithing tools and equipment
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair firearms
- Attention to detail and precision in all work performed
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
