We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our great People and Culture Team, in specific for our production plant in Windsor Locks, CT.
Main objective of the position
HR Manager partners with local leaders and workforce with all people and employment matters to attract, retain and develop people and to improve individual and organizational performance to deliver the business strategy. They also ensure smooth and high-quality day-to-day HR operations at the site.
HR Manager leads the implementation of global and local People and Culture Roadmap, processes, policies and tools according to the Group, Division, Business Unit and Plant targets, and ensures efficient and high-quality day-to-day HR operations at the site.

HR Manager partners with local leaders and workforce with all people and employment matters to attract, retain and develop people and to improve individual and organizational performance to deliver the business strategy. They also ensure smooth and high-quality day-to-day HR operations at the site.
HR Manager leads the implementation of global and local People and Culture Roadmap, processes, policies and tools according to the Group, Division, Business Unit and Plant targets, and ensures efficient and high-quality day-to-day HR operations at the site.
Key areas of responsibility
- Defines, drives and follows up Plant HR strategies and initiatives in partnership with business management in order to deliver long and short-term business plans and to achieve the Plant objectives
- Partners with local managers to develop talent strategies to consider both immediate talent needs and long term staffing requirements
- Drives local employer branding and community involvement activities, and supports hiring managers in recruiting and in ensuring successful onboarding
- Supports managers in all areas of employment life cycle
- Ensures implementation of global and local HR Roadmap, processes, policies and tools
- Recommends practices for continuous improvement
- Ensures policies and procedures in all areas of responsibility are up to date and compliant with current legislation, regulations, policies, standards and agreements
- Coordinates Occupational well-being and healthcare
- Supports Health & Safety for a positive and safe work environment
- Contributes to a good working environment and culture
- Identifies training and development needs, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to address skill gaps and support career growth. Coordinates, and at the times, deliver trainings locally.
- Coordinates communications activities locally
- Drives and develops high quality and efficient HR administration processes and services
- Actively uses and maintains SAP Success factor tool (master data and modules in use)
- Ensures the implementation of key people processes according to the HR annual cycle
- Leads Talent Reviews at Plant level
- Manages Employee Surveys at the Plant, including related action plans and follow-up
- Manages salary and merit review at Plant level
- Takes care of HR reporting to Plant Management team and to the Division/Group
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or another relevant field
- Credible, several years of experience in people and employment matters (as HR generalist/in managerial position)
- Experience in supporting manufacturing/industrial and matrix environment
- Solid track record in developing and implementing the key HR processes
- Good knowledge and experience to apply local legislation in all areas of employment life cycle
- Acting responsibly and ethically
- Demonstrated integrity in handing sensitive HR information and employee issues
- Understanding long and short-term business needs’ translation into HR priorities
- Strong business partner mindset and pragmatic approach
- Ability to gain trust and build rapport with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels and from different backgrounds
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong collaboration, networking and communication at all levels, in global organization
