JOB DESCRIPTION : Paper Machine #411 Utility Operator
EDUCATION : High School
EXPERIENCE : Basic Math Skills, ability to read and write English.
Three months to one year in an industrial manufacturing environment.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS :
- Constant alertness; must be able to complete multiple tasks correctly and simultaneously.
- Frequent exposure to extreme heat.
- Frequent handling of weights up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent physical strain without rest.
- Must be able to make decisions and / or judgments with well-defined scope.
- Must be able to wear / use required P.P.E. (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Must be able to work safely, independently, quickly and accurately.
- Must possess a minimum corrected vision of 20 / 40. Vision to be checked every 2 years with records to reside in the Medical Dept.
- Must strictly adhere to on-call responsibilities.
- Occasionally, must be able to work up to 12 consecutive days with little advanced notification.
- Responsible for own work and work area.
