We are looking for an office administrator to join our growing team! Ahlum & Arbor is a full-service arboriculture business focusing on tree preservation and fine pruning! We are family owned and have been serving Central Ohio as one of the top arboriculture companies for over 40 years.

As an Ahlum & Arbor Office Administrator you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the office. This includes: answering phones and emails, communicating with clients, working with with department heads, and other office personnel, relaying essential information or policy changes from upper management, and implementing incentives to enhance employee productivity.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assisting with office procedures and policies
  • Monitoring office supplies and ordering new stationery, furniture, appliances, and electronics as required
  • Working productively to meet deadlines and company standards.
  • Answering telephone calls and emails from customers and clients and directing them to relevant staff
  • Assisting with IT issues
  • Ensure that receivables are collected promptly
  • Receive, approve, and troubleshoot client’s accounts receivable invoices
  • Maintaining and updating schedules and calendars. Working with division managers to place jobs in the schedule as needed
  • Answering scheduling queries via email and phone in a timely manner
  • Contacting clients to confirm scheduled dates and convey any needed information
  • Ensure OUPS is marked on properties when needed
  • Checking completed jobs in CRM for accuracy of spelling, punctuation, times, etc. prior to invoicing
  • Performing other administrative tasks when required

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce reports, assign tasks, accept instructions, and handle vendor contracts, etc.
  • Organization and the ability to multitask to complete a wide variety of tasks
  • Flexibility to help adjust to new tasks should company or office needs change
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees
  • Leadership ability to manage challenges and oversee employees
  • Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly
  • Strong technology and computer skills

Hourly Range: $38,000 – 55,000
