What are the responsibilities and job description for the Monitor tech position at AHMC HealthCare?
Overview
Under general supervision, coordinates organizational and communication activities among staff, physicians,
departments, patients and visitors for the assigned unit(s). Responsible for clerical functions, accurate
maintenance of patient documentation including order entry and coordination of patient admission, transfer and
discharge.
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of AHMC- Anaheim
Regional Medical Center. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values
of AHMC- Anaheim Regional Medical Center and AHMC Healthcare Inc. The employee shall support AHM
Anaheim Regional Medical Center’s strategic plan and goals and direction of the performance improvement plan.
The employee will also be expected to support all organizational expectations including, but not limited to;
Customer Service, Patient’s Rights, Confidentiality of Information, Environment of Care and other initiatives
Qualifications
Education / Training / Experience
- Completion of comprehensive arrthymia course within 90 days of hire
- Successfully passes AHMC arrhymia exam within 90 days of hire
- Completion of medical terminology course within 90 days of hire
- Achieved passing score on AHMC ARMC Basic Arrhythmia Exam post completion of class and thereafter, annually.
- Current BLS-HCP certification
