Monterey Park Hospital, located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is searching for a Registered Nurse for our Telemetry. This is a full time, day shift position. This position reports to the Director of Telemetry.
The Telemetry RN provides care, treatment, counseling and health education to the hospitalized patient. The RN is responsible for planning and coordination of care across the continuum. This planning and coordination includes meeting and exceeding compliance with core measures, contributes to reduction in LOS, active participation with all aspects of quality, safety and performance improvement activities, collaboration with all the members of the multidisciplinary team in providing outstanding customer service to patients, family members, physicians and the public. Meets and exceeds CDPH, The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory requirements.

- BSN preferred.
- New graduates welcome, new graduate program offered - or six months of recent experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Current registered nurse license for the State of California
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- EKG certifiction required.
