Full-Time Maintenance & Renovation Technician
We are a growing real estate property management company seeking a skilled Maintenance & Renovation Technician to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for an experienced professional specializing in general renovations and property maintenance.
About the Role:
You will be involved in renovations/remodeling as well as general maintenance across our rental properties. Our portfolio includes full gut renovations and unit turnovers, requiring expertise in tiling, plumbing, drywall, and finish carpentry. We are very busy with steady work and need a reliable, detail-oriented professional who can work independently and lead projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full bathroom remodels, including demolition, plumbing fixture installation, tiling, and finish work.
- Install showers, bathtubs, vanities, toilets, sinks, and faucets.
- Tile installation for floors, walls, and backsplashes, including waterproofing.
- Drywall, taping, and finishing to ensure a polished final product.
- Framing and carpentry for bathroom layouts, including door installations and trim work.
- Basic plumbing and electrical work (hooking up faucets, toilets, light fixtures, exhaust fans, etc.).
- General property maintenance, including minor repairs to plumbing, drywall, and flooring.
- Assist with unit turnovers, ensuring apartments are move-in ready.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in bathroom renovations, carpentry, and general maintenance.
- Must have your own tools.
- Ability to work well independently and with a team.
Compensation & Growth:
- $20/hr to start, with opportunities for increases based on skill and performance.
