Position Summary
- Perform a wide variety of duties to support maintaining accurate levels of inventory in grocery and perishable warehouses and to help ensure accurate and quality loads for retail stores. This includes the evaluation and research of simple and routine discrepancies, auditing of outbound cases to retail stores, providing technical support to receiving and shipping departments, and exchanging information as needed with customers in retail, merchandising, trucking, and distribution.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities (essential functions)
- Act as the on-site representative in the validation and execution of the AUSA/C&S Standard (Flat) Credit Audit Program to ensure all processes and procedures involved in the program are properly executed. Per contractual agreement the secondary function is to validate the audit results by providing a "Witnessed" signature attesting to the accuracy of the findings. These results are the basis of the Standard Credit payments allotted to our stores.
- Execute the audit of 3rd party selections for accuracy and quality as stipulated by the selection audit department policies and procedures.
- Conduct aisle audits to identify code date issues and slotting concerns which include but not limited to - overstuffs, strays, damage and sanitation issues. Share actionable reports with local management teams.
Knowledge
- Basic understanding of Supply Chain logistics.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills
Abilities
- Ability to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers
- Must be able to work needed schedule to perform assigned duties
- Able to use assigned technology for data entry and research purposes
Education
- High school degree or equivalent.
Experience
- No minimum requirement. Experience in store operations, warehouse operations or Asset Protection beneficial.
