Plays key role in supporting the non-Field teams (Services, Finance, HR, Safety/AP, Outbound Logistics) with a variety of tasks that help streamline HR operations and provide exceptional service to our associates. Responsibilities will include supporting policy development and maintenance, managing the SpeakUp platform, handling associate inquiries through the Associate Service Center, and ensuring smooth onboarding processes for new hires. Additionally, it includes ownership of the roundtable portion of the Operations Engagement model through the Planner tool, including managing each DC's channel, reviewing roundtable data for trends, and providing monthly reporting on action items across the network.

Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Development & Maintenance:
Assist in the creation, review, and updating of HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with company goals and compliance with regulatory requirements. - SpeakUp Platform Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the SpeakUp platform, ensuring associates have an accessible, confidential channel for reporting concerns. Ensure timely follow-up on reports and escalate issues as necessary. - Associate Service Center Support:
Act as a point of contact for associate inquiries, assisting with issues related to HR systems access, payroll, benefits, and general HR support. Manage Associate Service Center tickets, ensuring timely resolutions. - Operations Engagement Planner Model:
Own and maintain the Operations Engagement Planner, ensuring engagement initiatives are planned, communicated, and executed effectively. Review data for trends and provide monthly reports on action items and trends. - Onboarding:
Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including scheduling orientations, providing required documents, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company. - Daily HR Support:
Assist associates with HR-related needs, including system access, payroll questions, benefits inquiries, and other daily HR operations. - Recordkeeping & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Generate reports as needed for HR metrics or audits.
Qualifications:
- Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, or relevant work experience in HR. - Experience:
Entry-level experience in human resources or administrative roles, preferably in a supply-chain or similar environment. - Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
