The Specialist Process Governance is responsible for supporting the governance process, policy, administrative documentation process
and maintain the Centralized Digital Library for the D&T network. Communicate with cross-national entities, process
updates, new processes implementation, and will intake processes requests across 20 distribution centers. This role
is responsible for maintaining the SPTAs central repository up to day to identify SPTAs gaps, critical compliance risk
and drive solutions to remove bottlenecks. This role is responsible for completing gap analysis and root cause analysis
across 20 distribution centers in the D&T network. This role is responsible for completing compliance audits for risk
assessments, identify root cause, supply chain disrupters, intake current state and propose future state and
recommended layout if needed.
Responsible for supporting the process governance strategy in support to our self-distribution business model
evolution of the D&T supply chain. Partner with the warehouse leadership to complete process observations, gap
analysis to trouble shoots root cause and create and implement solutions in alignment to operational complexities to
drive effective results efficiently. Responsible for projects implementation, executions, monitor, control and follow
ups post project completion. This role will support the governance strategy by turning business goals into actionable
plans for execution. This role supports continuous improvement efforts to optimize supply chain processes, reduce
operating expenses, and enhance overall performance.
Process Governance Strategy • Create and maintain SOP, SPTA, QRG's etc. related content for the centralized digital library as well as administrative oversite of the tool around approval flows and version control. • Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and accountability within the Process Assurance team. • Partner with Processes Assurance and Internal Audit to challenge status quo in existing processes, identify risks, cost inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization. • Assist internal and external audit scores, improved productivity, AUSA SPTAs Project completion and a reduction in waste across all ADUSA facilities. Process Mapping and Documentation • Lead process mapping efforts to capture end-to-end processes, identify interdependencies, and document workflows. • Apply lean & Six Sigma tools to enhance continuous process improvements and eliminate waste. • Use process mapping efforts to drive cross-functional alignment around the "one best way" and document future state. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish and govern a strict traceability, version control, and approval process for all process that touch D&T. Process Standardization and Optimization • Support the development and implementation and the Governance Scorecard and KPI creating to manage performance and measure processes effectiveness and efficiency. • Challenge existent processes to identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation. • Maintain governance mechanisms that drive collaboration across people operations, Information/Systems Technology, and the business. • Deploy and manage training in support of achieving robust understanding, compliance, and reporting.
Knowledge
Detailed understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations
Understanding of large-scale grocery distribution best practices and metrics
Experience in processes mapping and documentation preferred
Skills

Abilities
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
Must be able to work needed schedule to perform assigned duties.
Ability to work in a -20 degree to 90 degree Fahrenheit environment (temperature varies within each
department) for long periods of time.
Work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (i.e. cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered
industrial trucks)
Strong knowledge of distribution and transportation operations, industry trends, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve
results.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
Education
Bachelor's degree required.
Lean Six Sigma certified preferred
Experience
5-7 years of previous project management, training, or process documentation experience.
Previous experience leading without authority preferred.
Invenntory control Management preferred
