The Senior Director of Product Management will be responsible for the end-to-end product strategy and execution focused on eCommerce penetration and delivering an above-standard digital customer experience. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of both customer-facing user experiences and the associated backend technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving eCommerce growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and effective product solutions. Their leadership style inspires teams to do their best work.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days.

Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Vision:
- Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that drives eCommerce penetration and enhances digital customer experiences.
- Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product direction.
- Define and prioritize product roadmaps and initiatives that align with business goals and objectives, ensuring alignment across the overall company strategy with clearly defined outcomes and OKRs
- Infuse a multi-channel mindset that leads with mobile context first.
- Track product performance to inform future work.
- Lead the overall development of intuitive, user-friendly, and engaging customer-facing digital experiences and associate facing technology.
- Remit ownership across core eCommerce flows related to cart & checkout, payments, tax, slot management; fulfillment flows that include associate picking technology, order management, reconciliation, and route planning.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Experience Design, and other key functional leaders, to create seamless and delightful user journeys,
- Oversee the development and integration of backend technologies that support the digital customer experience, including eCommerce platforms and other associate technologies.
- Stay on top of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of all digital products and platforms.
- Responsible for full knowledge of the technology stack across the products in their remit
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers, while also working with and mentoring designers, developers, and other cross-functional team members.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture that encourages creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with partners across brand success, marketing, customer support, and other departments to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and impact on eCommerce penetration and customer experience.
- Utilize data-driven insights to make informed product decisions and optimize the customer journey.
- Regularly report on product performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Work closely with the Experimentation team to foster an environment of continuous learning and innovation

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in product management, with a focus on eCommerce and digital customer experience.
- Proven track record of driving eCommerce growth and delivering exceptional digital products.
- Experience across mobile app technologies and best practices (has been responsible for both web and mobile roadmaps)
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms and other relevant technologies.
- Passion for innovation, customer-centricity, and staying ahead of industry trends.
- Experience in consulting is a plus.
- Good understanding of current GenAI technologies also a plus.
- Extensive experience in optimizing transactional process within the customer funnel, including cart management, checkout processes, and payment integration.
- Proven ability to increase conversation rates through data-informed strategies and enhancements to the utility side of eCommerce.
- MBA or advanced degree.
