Overview
The Yield Manager responsible for maximizing the revenue potential of our digital advertising assets, specifically through programmatic and direct media sales channels. This role focuses on optimizing ad inventory performance, balancing supply and demand, and ensuring the most efficient monetization of retail media platforms.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, and Scarborough, ME.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize the yield of retail media inventory (both display and sponsored ads).
- Monitor and optimize ad campaign performance across different channels, adjusting pricing, placements, and formats to maximize ROI.
- Be a trusted source of data, insight, and context of ADRM inventory
- Collaborate with cross functional ADRM teams to forecast and manage inventory availability for direct and programmatic channels.
- Use data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, PowerBi, or similar) to monitor and report on key performance metrics, including CPMs, CPCs, ROI, and overall yield performance.
- Generate regular reports for internal stakeholders, offering insights into trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide recommendations based on data analysis to adjust yield strategies, pricing models, and targeting efforts.
- Partner closely with Media Planning to develop optimal campaign packages for our CPG clients
- Identify and resolve issues related to ad delivery, inventory management, or campaign performance.
- Work closely with Product teams on testing, troubleshooting and roadmap development as it relates to onsite media
- Stay up-to-date on retail media trends, ad tech developments, and industry best practices to ensure strategies remain cutting-edge.
Requirements
- 4 years of yield management experience
- Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions in a dynamic environment
- Experience in yield management for retail or eCommerce environments
- Experience with demand-side platforms (DSPs) and supply-side platforms (SSPs)
- Proven thought leader in strategic planning and operational efficiencies
- A keen understanding of digital advertising economics, including yield management, bidding algorithms, and inventory forecasting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of internal stakeholders and external client partners
- Familiarity with eCommerce ecosystems, particularly related to media monetization and ad inventory management
- Strong analytical mindset, with knowledge of various digital advertising technologies
