Primary Purpose:
To reduce internal and external risk and loss through the use of Exception Based Reporting (EBR), CCTV, and leveraging other reporting tools and systems, across all ADUSA brands. Measure Key Performance Indicator (KPI) trends and communicate potential investigations to ADUSA Asset Protection representatives.
Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days.

Princple Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and provide detail-oriented analysis of potential investigations found through the Exception Based Reporting tool, CCTV and/or other systems to our ADUSA Asset Protection partners.
- Utilize problem-solving and creative thinking skills to assist with identifying internal/external fraud trends and behaviors based off point of sale activity, reporting and overall store operation for our ADUSA brands.
- Support our ADUSA brands with being subject matter experts with the Exception Based Reporting tool by providing reports, creating queries/monitors, and training as necessary.
- Provide timely and accurate communication, reports, and ideas to our ADUSA brands partners to continue our working relationship and continuous efforts with identifying new trends and behaviors causing internal and external loss.
- Assist in the maintenance, enhancements, training and continuity with our Exception Based Reporting tool.
- Track and provide reporting on case productivity to identify quantity, dollar value, quality and case types.
- Continuously collaborate with cross-functional departments and learn what tools and reporting may be available to enhance ways of identifying potential business risks and loss.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Operations, Business, Criminal Justice, or related field.
- Advanced Excel skills (use of formulas, pivot tables, macros, VBA), perform data mining, and other analysis.
- Applications development and/or software product implementation.
- Working knowledge of Asset Protection best practices.
- Working knowledge of risks, internal controls, retail, and distribution best practices.
- Effective and professional communication skills.
- The ability to analyze and summarize data to deliver to Asset Protection partners.
- Proven ability to adjust and deliver in an ever changing and challenging environment.
- 3-5 years of combined experience in Asset Protection, Accounting, Finance, Compliance, Risk Management, Retail Operations and/or other related field.
- Loss Prevention Qualified (LPQ)
- Loss Prevention Certified (LPC)
