Job Description
AHRC NYC is holding a HIRING EVENT with ON THE SPOT JOB OFFERS! for Full & Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for multiple BRONX residences.
DATE & TIME: THURSDAY APRIL 10TH from 10AM-1PM
LOCATION: Recruiter will provide specific address for qualified candidates.
POSITIONS TO BE FILLED:
40HR Day Shift: 7am-3pm.....Drivers License Required
40HR Evening shifts: 2pm-10pm & 3pm-11pm....Drivers license Required.
30HR Weekend Overnight shifts: 11pm-9am.....Drivers license NOT Required.
Weekend availability needed for most positions!
PAY RATE: Hire-In $17 per hour increase to $18 per hour after 6 months if in good standing. $18.54 per hour for specific residence. Plus a very comprehensive Benefit package which includes FREE MEDICAL INSURANCE! See below for additional Benefit information.

- The oversight of all safety and health considerations
- Promoting skill development, interests, and hobbies
- Assisting with Adult Daily Living skills (ADLs)
- Other personalized responsibilities including cooking, cleaning, hygiene, etc.
Qualifications
- Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
- Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a MUST!
- Willingness to support people's preferences for community, activities, work, leisure activities, the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
- Ability to use a computer for data entry.
- High school education/GED, highly preferred.
