Allina Health has a robust Mental Health and Addiction Clinical Service Line that offers the full continuum of care including integrated psychiatry, specialty outpatient clinics, addiction/co-occurring services, partial hospitalization, day treatment, emergency, and inpatient care. Key Position Details: As an Addiction Psychiatrist , you will be a member of our Addiction Psychiatry outpatient clinic team. The addiction team includes specialty nurses, licensed alcohol and drug counselors, psychologists, and psychiatric providers. Program components include eConsults, education, outpatient therapeutic and psychiatric interventions. At Allina, our addiction services extend beyond the outpatient clinics and also include inpatient/residential care, dual diagnosis partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment programs. The Addiction clinic is embedded in our Mental Health Hospital Based Clinics, where we treat individual complex mental health care needs. Your team is closely aligned with Allina hospitals and facilitates referrals from the emergency departments and hospital discharges. You will also receive referrals and coordinate care with Allina primary care providers. Engages the patient and family to develop treatment plans that address identified goals. Develops and leads staff education in psychiatric issues. May participate in on-call rotation. Job Requirements MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain) Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI) Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable Completion of addiction fellowship or ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) certification Physical Demands Medium Work*: Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), Up to 25 lbs. frequently Pay Range Pay Range: $314,000 to $339,000 per year The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE.
