AHS Staffing is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a travel assignment in Lafayette, Indiana. As a travel Ultrasound Technologist, you will work with various patients and medical professionals to perform diagnostic imaging tests using ultrasound technology.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging tests on patients according to physician orders.
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures and positioning them correctly.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and any relevant medical history.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current ARRT registration in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS).
- Experience working as an Ultrasound Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
