The Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the organization’s compliance activities by assisting with regulatory processes, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring timely completion of critical tasks. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with physical filing and creation of files to maintain organized records.
- Support the mailing of regulatory filings to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Contribute to the Annual Certification process by coordinating and compiling necessary information.
- Monitor and track sign-offs for consents to ensure timely submission.
- Aid in preparing and distributing ADV/SEC Brochure Supplements.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in administrative or compliance-related roles.
- Familiarity with regulatory processes or a similar field is an advantage.
Special Requirements
- Availability to work onsite five days a week for a duration of 6-8 weeks.
- Immediate start date required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Adobe.
- Strong sensitivity to deadlines and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
