The Resource Allocation Manager is responsible for planning and managing the allocation of grant resources to maximize impact, ensure compliance, and fully expend budgets within established timelines. This role collaborates with leadership and project teams to identify high-impact initiatives, prioritize funding, and ensure compliance with grant regulations and organizational policies. The position plays a critical role in optimizing resource utilization and achieving strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement resource allocation plans to distribute grant funds effectively across projects.
- Conduct regular assessments of project needs, timelines, and available resources to adjust plans as needed.
- Collaborate with leadership and project teams to identify high-impact initiatives and prioritize funding accordingly.
- Monitor grant expenditures to ensure timely and full utilization of funds.
- Identify potential underutilization or overspending risks and implement corrective measures.
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure resources are allocated to the most critical needs.
- Ensure all resource allocation decisions comply with grant regulations and organizational policies.
- Implement best practices for tracking, monitoring, and adjusting resource allocation plans.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, public administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant management, budgeting, or resource allocation roles.
- Experience in a non-profit, governmental, or similar setting preferred.
Special Requirements:
- Certification in grant management or financial planning is preferred.
- Familiarity with grant compliance and reporting requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in budgeting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with diverse teams.
