Job Details
Position Summary / Essential Duties : Therapist should demonstrate the mastery of most clinical skills and focuses on improving other skills where necessary. This skills includes assessment skills and the active assessment of respiratory therapies needed and procedures according to the respiratory protocols. Essential duties include :
Mechanical ventilation
Medicated aerosol delivery
Airway clearance therapy
Patient monitoring
Oxygen and humidity therapy
Special procedures (CPR, specialty gases, bronchoscopy, transport, etc.) Education / Expertise : Associates Degree or Bachelors in Respiratory
Job Requirements
Associates Degree or Bachelors in Respiratory
National Board of Respiratory Care Certification
License / Certificate Verification
Additional Details
Proof of vaccine from Oct-March or exemptions must be submitted for approval. No declinations allowed. If exemption is needed for medical or religious reasons only, signed UH Exemption Form and UH Masking Attestation Form required to be signed. For medical reasons, a statement from a physician is required along with signed UH forms. Document can be found in document library.
