AI Data Innovations is seeking an Audiologist to join our Team!
This is a part-time on-site opportunity with potential to 40 hrs/week.
AI Data Innovations is looking for an Audiologist who will be responsible for performing comprehensive hearing evaluations for user studies and research projects. The ideal candidate is a flexible and adaptive critical thinker with experience in conducting hearing tests, analyzing results, and collaborating with research teams. This position does not involve patient care but does involve direct interaction with research participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing evaluations and assessments as part of user studies and research projects including: Otoscopy, pure tone air and bone conduction audiometry, speech reception thresholds, word recognition testing, QuickSIN testing, and masking
- Collaborate with the research team to develop and provide feedback on test protocols and procedures.
- Analyze test results and provide insights and recommendations to the research team based on findings.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data collected during tests and studies.
- Stay current with development in audiology research and technology.
- Assist in the development of new testing methodologies and protocols.
- Develop strategies and assist in the recruitment of participants with hearing impairment for data collections and research studies.
- Keep up to date with the latest evidence-based testing procedures and practices.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Audiology from a CAA/ACAE accredited college/university.
- Valid WA state license to practice audiology.
- At least one year of post-graduate experience in conducting hearing evaluations and assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with GSI AudiostarPro and Verafit2 systems.
- Ability to quickly and independently learn to set up and operate new audiology equipment and technology.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing protocols to meet the needs of the client.
- Thorough understanding of research design, research ethics, and HIPAA guidelines.
